What to expect

We cover the core principles of fermentation including yeast and bacteria basics, sanitation, sugar sources, and flavour development. Through guided demonstrations, tastings, and interactive discussions, participants explore how fermentation shapes aroma, acidity, body, and alcohol content across a range of beverages — including non-alcoholic options like kombucha and shrubs.

Take-home: Foundational knowledge and the confidence to start fermenting safely at home, with a clear path toward more advanced techniques.
