What to expect

We’ll make two types of pickles and explore the process behind them, from preparing a brine to building flavour and knowing what to watch for at home. Along the way, we’ll connect the science in the jar with the pickling traditions of Jewish kitchens and delis. Tickets are $60 CAD, with a 15% member discount for eligible SJCC members. Registration is through the SJCC.

Take-home: Two 500 mL jars and practical guidance for continuing the process at home and making your next batch.
